How To Make Marketing Your Property Safer & Easier - Insist On Online Symptom Screening Of Clients

Are You Feeling Uncomfortable & Unsafe With Marketing Your Property During The Corona Lockdown?

The way estate agencies have been marketing property has been changed by the Corona virus. Property practitioners (estate agents) are all subjected to strict lockdown SAFETY measures to ensure social distancing and sanitary compliance. A strict workplace protocol on how to prevent the spread of the virus has become the new normal in the real estate industry.

Quite a few sellers are at present not sure on how safe it would be to start marketing their properties during the lockdown period. For ease of mind, sellers should ask an estate agent 4 questions before they even start to investigate the estate agent's marketing plans - questions which is aimed at ensuring strict social distancing and sanitary measures during the marketing process.

Before signing a sole mandate with any estate agent, a sellers should make sure that:

1.       The estate agent & the agency has a social distance & sanitary compliant Workplace Protocol in place - in fact, ask for it even before agreeing to the first or preliminary valuation meeting with an estate agent;

2.       The estate agent will make use of virtually enabled marketing tools such as 3D virtual models (click on link for an example) & also walk-thru videos (click on link for example) - which will not only present your property better, but will also dramatically cut down on viewing visits to your home by potential buyers (as only the really interested parties should be viewing your home);

3.       The estate agent will be using an online health screening & questionnaire process to pre-qualify all parties for every appointment / viewing, BEFORE the viewing takes place! This will take away the need to complete any paper questionnaires (saving time & paper and again "direct contact" or sanitary issues);

4.       Online viewing appointments (employing 3D model show houses) or WTV (walk-thru video viewings) will be employed by the estate agent to:

4.1    literally "virtually walk" (offsite) with their clients thought the property on e.g. a Zoom call,  or

4.2     in person (onsite) with a buyer directed WTV (with an applicable video calling tool) to show them every nook & cranny of the property, before making an appointment with the seller to show it to the buyer personally.

CCH has developed a complete online screening system which prevents any potentially risky meetings or property viewings to take place between our clients and ourselves. All clients are provided with a screening questionnaire which need to be completed and signed online (on phones) before any meeting. The details are stored on a safe database and will only be available for the Department of Health tracing procedures - in the event of someone becoming sick. Our member agents also provide our clients, before meeting up with them, with an online declaration about their health status - which will include a temperature reading.

This way all parties can feel comfortable with any viewing of a property - as all the parties have been thoroughly screened.
